For the past two years, Wendy Bergeron has presented her Truth and Dare program to my leadership classes. The response from the students was phenomenal. The program helped my students see their full potential, as well as their worth. The Truth and Dare program is life-changing, not only for teens, but also for adults. Throughout Wendy’s presentations, I learned a lot about myself, and it has changed my manner of teaching.
Truth and Dare allows students to grow and learn, while forgiving themselves for their mistakes and making a commitment to themselves to make a change for the better. The impact of the program was so strong, and the information so valid and useful, that I plan to restructure my leadership class around the Truth and Dare book. Wendy is a wonderful motivational speaker, and she does an amazing job reaching teenagers. Every school should have a Truth and Dare program in place.

I strongly recommend WendyLynn Flemming’s TRUTH and DARE motivational speech for your school. For the past several years, Wendy Lynn has presented her two hour program to our high school sophomores and it is very impactful on our students. Her program has become a regular staple of our annual seminar programming and we would not think of constructing our 3-day leadership program without including Truth and Dare. We offer it as one of the first segments on day 1. For so many of the HOBY Ambassadors, they are nervous about attending our HOBY seminar and they don’t know many of the students who attend the HOBY seminar with them. What we’ve witnessed from offering the Truth and Dare session is that it exposes these high school sophomores to different behavioral patterns that they can identify with and be more cognizant of when they are not being their AUTHENTIC self. Also, Truth and Dare teaches our high school sophomores at a critically important stage of development that they are comprised of three distinct personas: Me, Myself and I. Through the skits acted out with the help of volunteer HOBY Ambassadors, the students can easily identify the different personas.
